CONGRATULATION NOTES

Ashley & Shane Osborn became the happy parents of a big baby boy! William Conrad Osborn was born Tuesday morning in Houston. He weighed 9 lbs. 12 oz. and he was 21 inches long. Ashley is the granddaughter of Bill & Helga Blackstone. Mother, son and father are doing well and we rejoice over the safe arrival of this little one.

We were so happy to learn that Sheri Wills’ daughter, DeLania Kidd, safely delivered a daughter on Saturday, October 9th in Leander. The little girl weighed 6 lbs. 12 oz. Mother and daughter are doing fine and were supposed to go home on Tuesday.  Congratulations to everyone in the family!

OUR FELLOWSHIP MEAL

Our monthly Fellowship Meal will be this evening after our worship assembly. Hosts and hostesses are: Bill & Mary K. Flanary, Guy & Charlotte Hastings and David & Sheri Zoller.  As it is our habit, we will not have a Fellowship Meal in November. Our next meal together will be the Holiday Fellowship Meal on December 1st.

FOOD PANTRY NEEDS

Personal hygiene products, canned meat (very much needed!), peanut butter. Plastic bags are not needed at this time.

NEXT SUNDAY MORNING

. . we will be waking up to DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME having ENDED. So don’t forget to set your clocks back to normal time on Saturday night, or you will be here at the wrong time for Bible class! And think about this: if you are not in the habit yet of attending Bible class on Sunday morning, this would be the perfect time, after a long and good Saturday night’s sleep, to start making this a part of your Sunday morning routine! Turn back One Hour!
