BEAUTIFUL FOOTNOTES

We are excited to hear what has been going on in SE Asia from our missionaries there. The report is divided into three parts. Keep the named prayers and work there in your prayers. For the elders, Ken D

GIRL’S BIRTHDAYS

We recently celebrated two of our girls’ birthday, Theary (29) and Sreypov (24). These girls bring us so much joy and we are praising God for having them in our lives. While we were in Phnom Penh we joined the girls for a joint birthday celebration which included delicious food and an Ice Cream birthday cake. Since moving to Kampot, Theary and Sreypov have rented their own place and have continued to work in the capital city. Theary has been working for the American Embassy and is thriving. Sreypov has continued her work making amazing pastries, bread and the most delicious cheesecake ever. Please pray for our precious daughters.

VISITORS

Our house in this beautiful countryside setting is quickly becoming a favorite retreat opportunity for friends. Since our last newsletter we have had many come for short and several-day visits. We praise God for blessing us with these opportunities to host others and share the Lord’s blessings to us. Come see us and hang out for a spell

PRAYER CIRCLES CAMBODIA

In a window between community COVID outbreak events which always cripple the country and restrict travel, the Prayer Circles Cambodia prayer ministry team made an epic seven-day ride through the eastern half of the country, Dennis’ longest ride to date. On this ride we were able to travel even closer to the eastern border than ever before, praying through regions and villages that were new to our group. We were surprised to find signs of the Kingdom of God at work in some very remote locations. Please join our prayer efforts, begging God that every Cambodian has an opportunity to hear the Gospel, believe, turn and be healed.

COVID UPDATE

A COVID outbreak (four Chinese women bribed security guards to escape quarantine) on 20 February has had a devastating effect on the country. To date the number of cases in the country went up about 300% in just one month and Cambodia has now recorded five deaths after getting through all of 2020 and early 2021 with no COVID deaths. The outbreak has required that the country implement stronger restrictions on the movements and gathering together of the population, resulting in the need to postpone our daughter’s wedding for a couple of months—no firm date has yet been set. Please pray that the country takes appropriate measures, the population adheres and the spread of the disease abates.

PRAYERS

Once again thank you for being an important part of our story, our ministry and our journey. We praise God for you. We ask you to continue to pray for Cambodia from every facet of God’s work among these people.

Grace, Peace, Love & Blessings,

Dennis and Sharon
