ASSISTANCE FOR TENNESSEE

We are all aware of the terrible destruction recently inflicted upon the Nashville area by powerful tornadoes. The Churches of Christ Disaster Relief organization, which assisted our community with recovery from the October 2018 flood, has been greatly challenged in providing relief to their home state. In response to member’s inquiries, we will have a Special Contribution for Disaster Relief on Sunday, March 22nd. If you care to participate, please provide funds via a separate check with the notation “Disaster Relief.” Cash can be given to one of the elders.

Adventures in Missions – New Zealand Preparations

We are blessed to help support Kaylee Hankins, the granddaughter of Danny & Nancy Hankins in the Adventures in Missions program as she prepares with her team to go to New Zealand this year. What follows is a short letter from Kaylee last week reporting on her preparations. Please keep Kaylee and her team members in your prayers. For the elders, Ken D

Hey y’all! As you know, my field is Tauranga, New Zealand and here’s a little update on what we’ve been doing!

Since we have intense studies in AIM ☺, it’s practically impossible to have a steady job. So we raise support. Lately, my team and I have been writing support letters and emailing to many friends, family, and total strangers to help us achieve our support goal. Each month in New Zealand, we need to have a minimum of $1200 a month and $4500 for our one-time support.

I almost have all of my monthly support. I just need about $200 more, but my team needs help too. If you know of anyone who would like to create a partnership with any of us, please let me know. It would be a huge blessing for us.

This past week, we’ve been working on our Visa. We had a spontaneous trip to Dallas, TX, Thursday to do medical testings and x-rays for our Visa and they got all of us in at one appointment rather than us have 4 different times to go in and it was a huge help because we got home yesterday around 7 pm.

We understand that God provides and He works in mysterious ways! He has gotten us this far, and we have no doubt that He will take us even further beyond what we can think or imagine!

We are making it our AIM to make the “Unknown-God” known in the entire world. Cory has this envision that inspires me so much to go out and be unashamed, to continue and plant seeds and allow God to do the rest and you are part of this, working alongside of us, even if you can’t physically be there. Which leads me to a shout-out to all my supporters, thank you for being a huge blessing in my Christian walk☺. I know you might have had to sacrifice things in order for me to be right where I am today. However, without you and your encouragement, I can’t imagine me with an amazing team heading to a beautiful but hurt place. Thank you ♥ ♥ ♥.
