TYLER MEREDITH – SIBI PREACHER STUDENT

BEAUTIFUL FOOTNOTES
Continue to remember in your thoughts and prayers those we support as they train to spread the word of God such as Tyler Meredith who is attending Sunset International Bible Institute in Lubbock training to preach. This is from Tyler’s latest report on some of his activities. For the elders, Ken D

This month has been a really interesting month. It has had some travel, some preaching, some learning, some partying, and some crazy weather. There has been some traveling this month since the beginning of this month started with a 1,200 mile drive back to Lubbock. Once I was back I had a week off and then I got back into my work with AIM and classes at SIBI. I am currently in four classes. Also, there has been some crazy weather. This month has been full and fun.

This term I have the opportunity to take four classes here at Sunset. The new classes I am taking are: Biblical interpretation, Life of Christ 2 (Matthew), Expository Preaching, and Evangelism. These classes are designed to help in different ways:
Biblical Interpretation: this class is designed to help us learn more effective ways of studying scripture.
Life of Christ 2: an in depth study of the book of Matthew to help understand the book.
Evangelism: helps us learn how to evangelize to the best of our ability as well as learning why it is important.
Expository Preaching: this class is a preaching lab which is designed to help us write and proclaim the message better. We present our sermons in from of other students and instructors with the hopes of becoming a better speaker.

One of the other works I have really enjoyed this month is going the retirement village called Raider Ranch. I have truly come to love these people over the past few months. I even go to spend time with them whenever I do not have to with AIM. I love getting to spend time with them because I get to truly pour into these people. They are slow, tired and unhappy, but I get to share my love and God’s love with them. They do not pour back into me because most of them can not physically do anything. But this has truly been a blessing for me this month and many months to come.

This month has been full of fun, full of laughs, full of tears (mostly happy tears), and service. None of the things that I have been doing this month or any of the other months would have happened if it was not for you. Thank you so much for helping me in my journey with God.

May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. Thank you once again for all the help you have gifted me with. God Bless.
