Last Sunday, the Highland Lakes congregation completed its search for additional leaders with the appointment of two new elders. This event needs to be seen as a step forward for our spiritual family — an enhancement of the good leadership we already had! Our new eldership is ready to lead, and the members need to be committed to following their spiritual example.

On behalf of Ken, Troy, Cary and myself — let me urge you to pray for us as we try to be the shepherds the Holy Spirit has called us to be. Please remember that the elders function as servants to the body of Christ . . . we want to hear your thoughts, ideas and concerns! By the grace of God, in the love of Christ, I am confident we are headed toward many more victories to the glory of our heavenly Father!
