WITH SYMPATHY

Peggy Ray, cousin of James Williams, passed away on Tuesday, August 19th. She was a lifelong resident of Sudan, TX. Funeral services were held on Friday, August 22nd, at the Sudan church of Christ, with burial in the Sudan Cemetery in Sudan.  Our sympathy, love and prayers go out to James and Vicky Williams, to family and friends.

Special thanks to Larry and Evelyn Moore for their caring help that afternoon. Their presence was such a blessing. OUR MONTHLY FELLOWSHIP MEAL

It will take place next Sunday, August 31st, the last day of the month. Hosts and hostesses will be: Ken & Gail Darnell, Bob & Doris Foster and Larry & Evelyn Moore.

FOOD PANTRY NEEDS

Toothpaste, tooth brushes, and bar soap, canned meats, such as chicken, tuna, beef stew etc. are needed. Currently, no plastic bags or egg cartons are needed.

In the CLOTHING AREA: good, useable items are always welcome.

PRAYER BREAKFAST

About his month’s prayer breakfast: the men will meet eat breakfast at the Lion’s Pancake Fundraiser. This is held at the Kingsland Community Center. The men will eat around 9 AM and then come back to the building for their prayer time.
