Auction at the Cherokee Home for Children

This will take place on September 27th at the Home. We have still quite a bit of time to think about what we could personally donate for this annual event. There is a flyer on the bulletin board about the items that will be auctioned off. Pick-up time for the items that we will have collected and possibly stored here, will be before September 12th. Large items, upon special arrangement, will be picked up at individual’s houses. Check the flyer for phone numbers and likely pick-up times.

VISITING FOR THE MASTER

VISITATION PROGRAM Team #2 (leaders: Cary & Brenda Miller) will meet on Wednesday, August 20th, at 6:30 pm in the Library for their assignments.

The Annual Teachers/Public Servants Appreciation Breakfast . . .

. . . will be this coming Friday, August 22nd from 7 AM to 9 AM. If you are still willing to volunteer and haven’t signed up yet, you can still do this on one of the sign-up sheets on the table in the back of the auditorium. This is a worthy and much appreciated cause.

Food Pantry Needs

Toothpaste, tooth brushes, and bar soap, canned meats, such as chicken, tuna, beef stew etc. are needed. Currently, no plastic bags or egg cartons are needed.  In the CLOTHING AREA: good, useable items are always welcome.
