AUGUST 3, 2014 WEEKLY NEWS

THANK YOU

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

We want to thank you for your outpouring of love and prayer during Phill’s heart surgery and recovery. God, in His great mercy, made the operation a success and recovery steady. Phill is eating well and regaining his strength daily.  We couldn’t do without you and we want you to know, how much we appreciate you all.

Sincerely, Phill, Lorna and Warren Parmer

FOOD PANTRY NEEDS

Toothpaste, tooth brushes, and bar soap, canned meats, such as chicken, tuna, beef stew etc. are needed. Currently, no plastic bags or egg cartons are needed.

In the CLOTHING AREA: good, useable items are always welcome.

Clients at the Food Pantry had questions about school supplies. We feel that this would be a good continuation of our Food and Clothing Pantry. We will not be using the Pantry funds for this project. If you would like to be a part of getting these children off to a good start, please give your donations to either Ken Darnell or David Zoller.  Remember school will start soon!

NEW ADDRESS

Claude Fletcher was able to move to the Arbor House facility on Tuesday, July 29th.  His new address is available from the church office.

VISITING FOR THE MASTER

(VISITATION PROGRAM) Team #1 (leaders: Teri & Joe Winnett)) will meet on Wednesday, August 6th at 6:30 pm in the library for their assignments.

YEARLY ICE-CREAM FELLOWSHIP

It is coming up on Sunday, August 10th, after our evening worship assembly. Be sure and make your plans to come to this “cool” fellowship!
