WITH SYMPATHY
Our Billy Hazlewood passed away peacefully on November 12th. He had been a deacon for many years at our congregation. One of his duties he fulfilled faithfully, was to make sure that those who had assignments at our worship services were present or that there were substitutes. Other duties he had were also done well in his quiet, gentle, and faithful way. We will miss Billy but rejoice that he has reached his goal and that his soul now dwells in that “better place”.
IN THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS
“Myron Fietz is facing a life-changing situation. Myron will begin his Chemotherapy in the next few days. We would appreciate your prayers, phone calls and visits! Right now, he is in severe pain with very little relief. He said, ‟I didn’t know dying would be so painful!‟” Thanks, Janet
DECEMBER EVENTS
Our Holiday Fellowship Meal takes place on Sunday, December 4th, after our worship assembly.
Again, we will collect stuffed animals and dolls (with no loose parts, please!) to be sent to the Care-A -Van to help and comfort young children who are experiencing difficult times in a hospital. Deadline for this collection is November 30th!
Every year we send cookies to Cherokee Home for Children for their Holiday Party. Store bought cookies are preferred by the children. The ladies class will pack the cookies up on November 30th! Bring either collection to the fellowship room.
There will be a special contribution that recognizes our employees/staff during the December fellowship. The congregation’s staff will be recognized with a Holiday Gift. Contributions can be given to Norma Bryan or Cary Miller. Thank you!

BEAUTIFUL FOOTPRINTS
“And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”” Romans 10:15

We heard from our brother Sylvester Imogoh concerning the seminar and lectureship that the Ugbogbo church of Christ hosted last weekend. It is good to hear from our Nigerian brethren and know of their activities in sharing the Gospel. Keep their efforts in your prayers. For the elders, Ken D

The Seminar and Lectureship today was simply great!!!! Considering the current problems with fuel and cost of transportation, we did not expect what we got today. We have brethren from far and near and we have many, many invitees who came. Sandra and the Ugbogbo women made a budget for food for 400 but we had over 450. Some of our brethren did not get food to eat. Right now we have just returned back from church and Sandra is now making additional food for those who are hungry. Everyone is happy and feeling fulfilled spiritually.
Thank You very much for the funds for the food for this program. God is being glorified despite the circumstances we face. May His name alone be praised!!! Please send our thanks and appreciations for the support.
We cannot do what we are doing without your support and collaboration.
Especially now with the inflation and rising cost of food, everyone appreciated that we could feed so many. Please convey my thanks and appreciations to the rest elders and the entire church family.
