MAN UP! Riding for the Brand

Cherokee Home for Children will be hosting a day for men to come together in brotherhood and comradery to hear a great speaker, and to have fun as men. It is a special day just “for the boys”.

Guest speaker this year will be radio talk-show host, equine specialist, and businessman, Scott Knudsen, of Fredericksburg, Texas. He is a dedicated Christian and family man. Men, make your plans to attend!

GOSPEL CHARIOT MISSIONS

On October 7th, at 7 PM, some representatives from the “Gospel Chariot” will be at the Leander church of Christ in Leander, TX. They will tell about various new outreaches and the work that this fleet of mobile teaching centers is doing. If you are interested in going, please talk to Ken Darnell or Cary Miller.

The Gift of Missions – Teacher: Ken Darnell

Look at the great things the Lord has done through Gospel Chariot Missions during the pandemic. When George Funk was stuck living in one of the most tightly controlled countries in the world (Australia), he used that time of isolation to develop and promote Gospel Share Missions. “God was not in lock-down during the pandemic.” Gospel Share teaches members how to spread the Good News by telling their stories and God’s story to others in a simple, biblical and reproducible way. HOW IT ALL STARTED

IT ALL STARTED SOME 10 YEARS BACK DUE TO US BAPTIZING TOO MANY SOULS EVERY YEAR ON THE GOSPEL CHARIOTS AND NOT EQUIPPING THE NEW CONVERTS AND THE LEADERS OF THE CHURCHES, AND IT BOTHERED ME. WHEN LOCKDOWN ARRIVED I WAS READY TO WRITE A DISCIPLESHIP MANUAL WITH 12 DISCIPLESHIP TOOLS ON HOW TO ENTER AN EMPTY FIELD, HOW TO SOW THE SEED, HOW TO GROW THE SEED AND HOW TO GATHER THE HARVEST WITH 3 LEADERSHIP TOOLS ALL FROM THE WORD OF GOD AS WE FOLLOW JESUS AND THE APOSTLE PAUL.

AT THE WRITING OF THIS REPORT, WE ARE NOW WORKING IN MOST COUNTRIES IN AFRICA, IN MULTIPLE ASIAN COUNTRIES, NORTH, SOUTH AND CENTRAL AMERICA ,WHERE NOW WE ARE ALSO BUILDING A NEW BIG GOSPEL CHARIOT FOR LATIN AMERICA AND NOT FORGETTING AUSTRALIA. WE HAVE RECENTLY STARTED AN ONLINE COLLECTIVE 3/3s CHURCH OF CHRIST WHERE WE GATHER, GROW AND GO AS WE WORSHIP GOD. IT IS MORE LIKE YOUR BIBLE STUDY TIME WHERE THE FLOOR IS OPEN FOR COMMENT WHEN DISCOVERING SCRIPTURE AND ALSO DESIGNED FOR KEEPING GOD’S BIG VISION IN FRONT OF THE GROUP. AND BEFORE HEADING HOME, SETTING SOME GOALS. IT IS VERY GOOD FOR CHURCH PLANTS AND FOR MISSIONARY PREACHERS AND ELDERS TO WORK WITH MANY GROUPS AT ONE TIME THAT WILL MULTIPLY.

BELOW IS THE FORMATE THAT WE USE. ALL CHURCHES GATHER, ALL CHURCHES GROW, NOT MANY CHURCHES GO AND THAT IS WHERE WE EQUIP OUR MEMBERS TO HAVE TOOLS IN THEIR TOOLBOX SO THEY CAN ENTER NEW FIELDS AND SHARE THE GOSPEL IN THEIR SPACE AND PLACE OF ACCESS AND IN THE PROCESS HELPING BRING NEW SOULS TO CHURCH WHERE FUTHER TEACHING CAN TAKE PLACE.

WE ARE CONNECTING EVERY SUNDAY EVENING ONLINE WITH MORE THAN 250 CHRISTIANS AROUND THE WORLD HELPING THEM GATHER, GROW AND GO. SO ANYONE WANTING TO START A NEW GROUP OR CHURCH OR UNDERGROUND CHURCH , CAN JOIN WITH US AND LEARN AND EVENTUALLY LEAVE US, BUT KNOW THEY HAVE A SAFE PLACE TO RETURN TO OR INVITE ONE OF THEIR DISCIPLES TO JOIN AND LEARN ON HOW TO START SMALL GROUPS. WE ARE A HUB HELPING CHURCHES START BABY CHUCHES THAT START BABY CHURCHES. THEN WE HAVE OUR OWN SMALL GROUP AND PLACE WHERE WE CONDUCT TRAINING AND CONNECT AND INVITE PEOPLE WHO ARE FAR FROM GOD BUT CLOSE TO US.
