Teachers Wanted

The congregation is always looking for men who would like to join the Sunday morning Bible class team! If you would like to teach a lesson or two on Sunday morning, or perhaps a lesson series on Wednesday night, please, mention it to one of the elders.

Heart of Texas Bible Camp

The Sunset Ridge Church of Christ in Brady, TX. will be conducting two sessions this summer at the Heart of Texas Bible Camp. This children’s camp provides a week of fun, fellowship and Bible learning for kids of all ages.

 Session One: For grades 4-7 (June 5th – June 10th)

 Session Two: For grades 8-12 (June 12th – June 17th)

The congregation will be providing the funds for any children/grandchildren of the congregation to attend the camp. If you have a child who is interested in attending, please, contact Joe for the necessary forms and information.

Eating Out Together

Those who enjoy eating out together will meet on Thursday, May 12th, at about

5 PM, at ―the Grand Central Café‖ in Kingsland.

Proverbs 3:27 says “Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it”. In the following message from our brother Sylvester Imogoh shares a note he received from another Nigerian brother in regard to gospel tracts Sylvester writes and helps print. A second part of this message is from Sylvester giving thanks in turn to others. We give thanks and honor to our God who helps us support the work of the Gospel in Nigeria. A letter of appreciation to Sylvester he shared:

Sylvester says:

I wish there is how I can direct all the brethren who wants to show appreciations for the OPM materials to you. Because YOU and the donors are the ones that deserve all the praises and appreciations for the sacrifice of funds to make this great work happen. And the number of calls from those who want to express appreciations is growing daily. And know that my part in this work is small. ( I am aware of other Nigerians who have or can write tracts. But without money for Printing, they are helpless)

I can never thank you all enough for the wonderful opportunity you are giving us to serve the church in Nigeria.
