Our love, prayers and condolences are with Chuck, and all in the family.

Last week, in his sermon, Joe Winnett preached on Evangelism. We are blessed to be able to support efforts to spread the Gospel in so many places. The efforts to evangelize in countries like India are often particularly challenging. This latest letter from India Evangelism helps us see some of those challenges. Please keep the work on spreading the gospel in India in your prayers. For the elders, Ken D

Dear brethren,

Thank you for your contributions to help support P.J. Krupalini in India.

The Grace Tailoring School (GTS) did have to shut their doors for a while, but recent reports are that they reopened June 1st. The ladies come to class interested. We are all following the COVID rules. The balance of GTS money in the bank is drawn in purchase of the essential commodities to the ladies of GTS and the poor people. There is no money left for the school except June expenses. We had to ask to use any extra GTS funds they had on hand for helping the students and others who needed it. We have sent money for July and August, but we are not sure how long we will be able to continue at the current level.

According to reports from other American brethren who work in India, hundreds of Indian preachers of the Lord’s church have died due to COVID- 19. Please pray that there will be others who can take their places. We are doing some relief work, but it is hard to move the money where it is needed.

The latest: help was to brother Manjo Raji in Sevvapet, near Chennai, who tested positive and was instructed to isolate for 20 days before being tested again. He is a daily wage earner, so it was both physically and financially affected. He and his family are very thankful for the help.

The spread of COVID in India is finally decreasing after a month of lockdown and great effort to reach people with vaccinations. This is a blessing to be thanking God for. We also praise God for all of you who keep this work going.

Yours in Christ, International Gospel Teacher and India Evangelism.
