2018 TEACHERS’ APPRECIATION BREAKFAST!

The Llano ISD has selected Tuesday, August 14th as the time for our Annual Appreciation Breakfast. We will begin serving food that morning at 7 AM and continue until 9 AM.

For those of us who also work in the Pantry, this will be a challenging schedule — but I am confident we can do it! On the back table in the auditorium are sign-up sheets for those who are willing to work in the breakfast ministry. As usual, we will need home cooks to prepare the bacon & sausage at home and bring it to the building that morning. We also need cooks at the building to prepare pancakes, eggs and biscuits, etc. There will also be jobs for hosts & hostesses and for eater/greeters as well.

Gospel Chariot Missions July 4:

NIGERIA GOSPEL CHARIOT REACHES MANY WITH LOCAL PREACHERS…..Amen

The Nigerian gospel chariot began a month long evangelistic campaign across several local government areas of Akwa Ibom, Southeast of Nigeria on May 28, 2018. The chariot evangelist, Samuel Iheke reports: Sister Nyakno Ita Umo was baptized on Friday 02 June, Kufre Asuquo Ekpenyong was baptized on Saturday 03 June while Mkpoikenke Godwin Robert and Iniobong William Umotte were baptized on Thursday 07 June, 2018. The Chariot and the crew covet your prayers as they comb the state in search of souls for the Master.

MORE NEWS……. We visited 19 Local Governments and preached in more than 30 communities. The following LGAs were visited by the Nigeria Gospel Chariot. Uyo, Insit Ibium, Etinan, Eket, Nsit Eket, Ibiono Ibiom, Itu, Abak, Ikot Ekpene, Ikot Abasi, Ibesikpo Asutan, Uruan, Ini, Ikono, Nsit Ibiom, Nsit Atai, Mkpat Enin, Ikono, and Onna.  We were hosted by more than 30 congregations as we preached in their respective communities……Amen and amen.

MORE NEWS……Due to the season we are now having heavy rain that disturbs some of our programs. On two occasions, the tent was pulled down and torn from the usual place.

Also, the organizers made the program too difficult for us to rest a little. Sometimes we preached in three different places in a day. Nevertheless, they supported us and took care of us in a very wonderful way. They supplied more than 250 litres of diesel for the Truck movement from one Local to another.
