IN SYMPATHY

Johnny Crabtree, Gary’s dad and Sherry’s father-in-law, passed from this life on Saturday, May 26th, at 10 pm. Graveside services took place at Peaceful Gardens Cemetery in Woodrow, Texas on Friday, June 1st, and a family service was held on Saturday, June 2nd, at 2 pm at the Trinity church in Childress, Texas. Our thoughts, love and prayers go out to Gary and Sherry and to all in the extended family.

Today we welcome Dennis & Sharon Welch who are on furlough from the mission field in Cambodia. Dennis will give us a report about this mission work. Thank s to all of you who are coming to hear this great report.

BEAUTIFUL FOOTNOTES

We are so thankful to have with us today Dennis and Sharon, reporting on the work of spreading God’s gospel of salvation to the people of Cambodia. We are blessed to be fellow workers with the Welches and to support this work as a congregation. Thankful the people of Cambodia can hear of God because the Welches were willing to be sent and we were willing to help send them. Continue to pray for the Welches and the work in Cambodia. Romans 10:14-15 (ESV) 14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”
