footprints-hiBeautiful Footnotes . . .

“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21 (ESV)

Paul’s words to the Ephesians are as true today as they ever were. It is truly by God’s hand that former communist bloc nations are asking for the Bible – in their schools. Ukraine, Romania and Croatia are wanting more. More spirituality. More morality. More God. Providing more for their children and their future.

Eastern European Mission (EEM) thinks this is a good thing and is saying, “Yes” to these nations and is working on fulfilling these requests, but they need your help. So,

EEM is asking individuals and churches, all across the nation, to participate in The Million Dollar Sunday on September 27, 2015.

For just $5, you can help make this happen. $150 provides for a class and $1,000 supplies an entire school. Eastern European Mission has the opportunity to place Bibles and Biblical literature in the schools o f Ukraine, Romania and Croatia – in their native languages.

The Highland Lakes congregation has supported efforts of the EEM in the past. Let’s partner together in this effort and do more. Please join in this effort to fulfill this request and help spread the gospel. Do what you can to help. The Bible. We want everyone to get it! For the Elders, Ken D.
