HELPING HANDS TEAM ROPING

AG Leather, owner Adam Garcia, is inviting all to the First Annual HELPING HANDS TEAM ROPING, an event that will help the Llano Food Pantries. Team ropers and Barrel Racers will compete for various leather products and cash. Admission for the spectators is free but they are invited to bring canned food items that will profit the area Food Pantries. The event takes place on Saturday and Sunday, November 22 & 23 at the Llano Event Center, 2200 Ranch Road 152. Doors open at 10 a.m. both days. It sounds like a fun event with great benefits for those who are hungry!

Harvey Blackstone, Bill Blackstone’s brother and Helga’s brother-in-law, passed away during the night of November 11th, after having suffered from spreading melanoma for some time. Funeral services will be Tuesday morning, November 18th, at the East Side church of Christ in Morton, Texas. He will be laid to rest at the Enochs Cemetery, next to his wife, Bonnie.

We extend our love, prayers and sympathy to Bill & Helga, to Harvey’s family and to all who knew and loved him.
