UPCOMING EVENTS

Today, Sunday, November 2nd:

 Combined adult class in auditorium, taught by Charles Greenawalt.

 Sunday morning message will be by Ken Darnell.

 Sunday night sermon—Delton McGuire (Cherokee Home for Children).

Wednesday, November 5th:

 Regular classes.

Sunday, November 9th:

 Richard Emperado will report on the work in the Philippines to the combined adult classes at 9 AM. He will preach at 10 AM.

 Sunday night, Joe will preach after his & Teri’s vacation, October 26th to November 2nd.

ABOUT THE EMPERADO VISIT!

The Emperados will be staying with Cary & Brenda Miller on Saturday, November 8th and Sunday, November 9th. The family consists of Richard, Becky and teenagers Jennylyn, Jennylou and Grant. There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board for those who would like to help with feeding the Emperados, either lunch or dinner. There are/were still 2 openings. Would you like to help?

WITH SYMPATHY        

Our love, prayers and condolences are with Ida and John C. Brewer.  Ida lost her 89 year old sister, Nedde Pegg on Wednesday, October 22nd, in Springfield, MO. Memorial services will take place at a later date.

GUEST SPEAKER

We welcome Delton & Valerie McGuire on the evening of November 2nd! Delton will give a report about the work at Cherokee Home for Children at our 5 PM worship hour. It is always good to hear the reports Delton brings about this good work we support! Be sure and honor Delton with your attendance this evening.

VISITING FOR THE MASTER

VISITATION PROGRAM Team #1 (leaders: Teri & Joe Winnett) will meet on Wednesday, November 12th, at 6:30 pm in the library for their assignments.

FOOD PANTRY NEEDS

Peanut butter, canned meats, toothpaste and shampoo are needed. The Pantry is also in need of plastic bags again!

A BEREAVEMENTWORKSHOP

Facing the Holidays After the Loss of a Loved One workshop is being sponsored by Seton Highland Lakes Hospice on Wednesday, November 12th, from 3 to 4:30 pm at the Marble Falls Public Library, 101 Main Street.
