FOOD PANRTY NEEDS

Peanut butter, canned meats, toothpaste and shampoo are needed. In the CLOTHING AREA: good, useable items are always welcome.

SPECIAL GUESTS ARE COMING!

Doug Wheeler and Family will be with us on Sunday, October 26th. Doug will report to us on his recent trip to Nigeria in a combined Bible class. He will also preach for us Sunday morning. We then will have a Fellowship luncheon followed by a short devotional. After that, we will be dismissed for the day. There will be no 5pm assembly on October 26th! Hosts and hostesses will be: Cary & Brenda Miller, James & Vicky Williams and David & Sherry Zoller.

VISITING FOR THE MASTER

VISITATION PROGRAM Team #2 (leaders: Cary & Brenda Miller) will meet on Wednesday, October 22nd, at 6:30 pm in the Library for their assignments.

CONGRATULATIONS

Cary & Brenda Miller were blessed with the birth of their 10th great grandchild recently. Weston John Reeves made his appearance on September 9th, weighing 8lbs. 7 oz. and 22 inches tall. Wes & Breanne Reeves of Midland, TX are the proud parents along with big brother, Cline.

WITH SMYPATHY

SMSGT Jerry R. Gross USAF (Ret.) went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 5th. He was the husband of Vera D. Gross, sister of Thelma Thuleen. Jerry had been on our prayer list for a long time, and Vera and Thelma, especially, thank all of us for the many prayers that went up on Jerry’s behalf. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 14th at 12:30 pm at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, in San Antonio, with interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jerry’s favorite charity, Cherokee Home for Children. Our heartfelt prayers, love and condolences go out to Vera, Thelma and Ken and to all those who knew and loved Jerry.

ADDITIONAL SMYPATHY

Phillip Womack Sr., cousin of Barry Womack, passed away on Sunday, September 28th. He had lived in Marble Falls for many years and also had a business there. Funeral services were held in on October 2nd, at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls. Our sympathy, heartfelt prayers and love go out to Barry & Judy, and to Phillip’s extended family and friends.
