FAREWELL . . . FOR NOW

Our brother in Christ, Claude Fletcher, passed away last Monday. He served for many years as a faithful shepherd of this spiritual flock. We all regretted the steady decline in his health that required him to eventually step down as one of our elders.

The sorrow of his departure is helped when we remember what he has gained in Christ. His reunion with Deanie, he beloved wife, and the joy of being with the Lord he served so long . . . let our hearts dwell on this.

Funeral services took place on Friday, at our building. Jay Lockhart and Joe Winnett officiated. Arrangements were under the direction of Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home in Marble Falls. The family has requested that any memorial contributions in Claude’s memory be made to the Cherokee Home for Children, P.O. Box 295, Cherokee, TX 76832 or http://www.chc4kids.org. Our love and prayers go out to all in the family and friends.

WITH SYMPATHY

Hack Sexton’s nephew, Danny Ray Collins, passed away on September 22nd, in Clarksville, Arkansas. He was 49 years old. Funeral services took place on Thursday, September 25th, in Ozark, Arkansas. Our prayers, love and sympathy go out to Hack and to all in the family.
