“Thank you so much for the beautiful flowers. Hunter loved coming to Texas and visiting with all of you. Hunter never met a stranger and loved GOD more than anyone. Your thoughts and prayers have meant a lot to us.”  Love, Michael & Sissy Smith, Anna Carole, Jonathan, Lauren & Presleigh McClallan, Mary Smith

Welcome, New Members!

We are so happy that John and Ida Brewer decided last Sunday to place their membership with us here at Highland Lakes. They had wanted to move to this area many years ago, but were unable until their house in the East Texas area was sold. We are glad that things finally worked out, and so we welcome you to our congregation, John and Ida! Addresses, phones numbers, birthdays and anniversary dates are available for your directory from the church office.

(VISITATION PROGRAM) Team #2 (leaders: Cary & Brenda Miller) will meet on Wednesday, February 12th, at 6:30 pm in the Library for their assignments.

News From the Food Pantry

What is currently needed in the Pantry: personal hygiene products and also spaghetti for the many cans of spaghetti sauce we have. Peanut butter and plastic bags are again needed.

Clothing contributions are also still welcome.

The new name for the Food Pantry is:  “Helping Hands Community Pantry.”

This name was chosen by the pantry workers. The hope is that this name will help us to reach out more effectively in Kingsland to those who might want to partner with us in this great work.
