Adult Summer Bible Class Series: “The Christian’s Everyday Problems”.

This coming Wednesday evening, Ken Darnell will present thoughts on the topic of “The Problem of Self-Improvement”.

With Sympathy

We want to express our condolences to Harold and Sarah Hancock upon the passing of Harold’s brother-in-law, Fred Zedlitz. He was 83 and had resided in the Alzheimer unit in Coleman, Texas. Funeral services were pending on Thursday.

VISITING FOR THE MASTER (VISITATION PROGRAM)

Team #1 (leaders: Teri & Joe Winnett) will meet on Wednesday, July 11th, at 6:30 p.m. in the Library for their assignments.

Attention Singles

The singles group will meet today at the “Highlander” in Burnet for their monthly luncheon.

Guest Speakers

Joe will be on vacation, July 9 — 15. He will be gone on Sunday July 15th. In his absence, we will have as our guest speakers Ken Darnell in the morning and Charles Greenawalt in the evening. Bill Blackstone will lead the singing, as always, in the morning, but also in the evening, since John Brewer will be at the Singing School in Abilene on that Sunday and a few days following.

The Food Pantry is still in need of peanut butter, canned meat and pork & beans. Your help is very much appreciated!

Kingsland Care Center Donation Needed

Do you have a used I-Pod? Would you like to donate it? The director of the Center called us, they would greatly appreciate our donations.
