Thank you!

Today . . . we welcome Richard, Becky, Jennylyn, Jennylou and Grant Emperado, our missionaries in the Philippines! Richard will give us a report in the auditorium and he will also preach. We are looking forward to that.
We have rescheduled our Fellowship Meal to today, so we can visit with and enjoy the Emperados in a special way. Hopefully, all of us have made plans to stay for this good fellowship.

It’s that time again! The Heart of Texas Bible Camp in Brady, Texas, has set its schedule for 2019. Session One will be June 2 — 7 and is open to the campers in grades 4 — 7. Session Two will be June 9 — 14 and is open to campers in grades 8 — 12.
As we have done in previous years, the congregation is sponsoring any of our children who want to go to camp by paying their tuition. The deadline for those wishing to go to camp is this week, coming Sunday. Talk to Joe, in order to get a copy of this years’ comp brochure and application, applications are due to be sent in now.

“How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” Romans 10:14-15

We have been blessed over the last two years to help support Cooper Atkeson, his wife Meagan and their daughter Mary as Cooper has attended Sunset International Bible Institute in Lubbock. This weekend Cooper will graduate from Sunset with a Bachelor’s of Biblical Studies Degree and soon will be moving to begin working as a minister in Youth/College ministry. We hope that all will pray for Cooper and his family in their work in the kingdom and pray that God will bless them and their efforts in spreading the gospel. We will update when we know for sure where they will be working. For the elders, Ken D
