Ken & Gail Darnell ask prayers for the family of Anderson Gruhlkey, 23 yr. old son of Jim & Melanie Gruhlkey of Levelland, TX. Anderson died unexpectedly this weekend after an all too short life of heart related issues. Anderson and his sister Alexandra were students in the school where the Darnells also taught with their friends, the Grulkeys. In spite of many hardships, Anderson’s life directed much glory to God.
We send our love, prayers and condolences to Jim & Melanie Gruhlkey, the Darnells and all those who knew and loved Anderson.

BIBLE CAMP COMING!
It’s almost that time again! The Heart of Texas Bible Camp in Brady, Texas, has set its schedule for 2019. Session One will be June 2 — 7 and is open to the campers in grades 4 — 7. Session Two will be June 9 — 14 and is open to campers in grades 8 — 12.
As we have done in previous years, the congregation will sponsor any of our children who want to go to camp by paying their tuition. Those interested in going to camp should speak to Joe, in order to get a copy of this years’ comp brochure and application.
In the past, we have been helped with this expense by the generosity of members who wanted to help. If you would like to contribute to this good cause, please speak to one of the elders.
OUR NEXT FELLOWSHIP MEAL . . .
. . . will be next Sunday, May 19th. The Emperado family will be with us on that day. Richard will give a report during Bible class and he will also preach. Please put this change on your calendar! Hosts and hostesses will be: Bill & Mary K. Flanary, Cary & Brenda Miller and James & Vicky Williams.

Beloved in the Lord,
I am glad to share with you an additional birth of a new soul at Ukpe making the total number of worshipers there to 14. It will be recalled that the church at Ukpe is the result of the evangelism effort of the church at Ukpagada where I preach and was started in November 2018.
It was after Bible study that he offered himself for baptism and we were all happy. I thought I should share our joy with you all. Keep him and the entire young congregation in your prayers.
The church at Ukpagada is growing to the glory of God. We are currently building a Mission House. The idea behind it is that we want to have a place where we can host our numerous guests that usually attend our annual Lectureship in November each year. We think this will cut down our bills. We are using local bricks and hope to finish the building before ending of April. 2 souls were added into the church during this period under review. We plan to provide food for the evangelism at Ukpe at the end of the month .
Pictured here are Cameroonian Refugees posing with boxes of tracts and books sent to them by Sylvester Imogoh of Nigeria Christian press.
The kind gestures will surely impact positively on evangelism in the refugee camp that boast of 9 preachers. Pray for success.
