There are so many people in the world today claiming that there is no God. Well, I am here to state that I know there is a God and I can prove it. You may ask how I can be so confident. I know for one hundred percent certainty that God exists for the same reasons the Psalmist expressed in Psalm 19.
I know there is a God because of His world (Psa. 19:1-6). The creation literally screams out that there is a Creator. The designed speaks of a Designer (Heb. 3:4). If we choose not to believe that God did it, we are fools and without excuse (Psa. 14:1; Rom. 1:20-21). Just a look at the complexity and order of creation convinces me that God exists!
I know there is a God because of His word (Psa. 19:7-11). If you look at the descriptive words in this section of Scripture, you note ones like: perfect, sure, forever, righteous. That is the way God’s word is, because that is the way God is. God’s word is inspired by a perfect God (Isa. 6:3; 2 Tim. 3:16-17) and thus is perfectly harmonious (1 Cor. 2:13). It is totally accurate. There is no bad advice in the Bible (Psa. 119:9). Just a look into the unity and accuracy of the Bible convinces me that God exists!
I know there is a God because of His work (Psa. 19:12-14). As the Psalmist so well expresses it, God’s work is that of cleansing people’s souls, of making them blameless. It is God’s will that all be cleansed from their sins and be spiritually blessed, and He works that will in those who obey Him (see Col. 1:29; Eph. 1:19; 3:20; Heb. 5:9; 13:21). Just a look into the peace and purpose He made out of the chaos of my life convinces me that God exists!
